Asking for help can be difficult. Often times scheduling, commuting, or even just leaving the house to attend counseling can be tough. At Pacific Coast Mental Health, you have options. You can attend in-person sessions (office in Lynnwood near 196th), or you can attend sessions via Teletherapy using my HIPAA-compliant video conferencing software (similar to Zoom).

At Pacific Coast Mental Health, counseling is a collaborative process. Your counselor won’t tell you what to do, as YOU are the expert on YOU and your life. Instead, your therapist will come along side you, partner with you, and suggest evidence-based clinical interventions that may help. You should be in the driver’s seat of your own care.

The relationship between counselor and client is one of the most important factors in predicting the success of counseling. In other words, the “right fit” is critical in order for counseling to work. For this reason, we offer a 20 minute phone consultation, free of charge, before beginning counseling. During your consultation, we will discuss what you’re looking to work on in counseling and we will determine whether we “fit.” If it’s not a good match, we can give you a list of other therapists to try.

Congratulations on taking the first step toward asking for help!
